We keep their business leaders informed and connected through a full range of programs and services that tackle real-world service business challen....more info View all our jobs TSIA seeks an experienced professional services Director/Senior Director to own, refine and help grow the PS Organizational Development Program (ODP) that has been successfully piloted over the last 12 months. The PS OPD program is a consultative offering that leverages detailed, business process criteria to perform diagnostic audits of TSIA members? professional services organizations. The Director/Senior Director will have primary responsibility for the PS ODP program and offering including the delivery of successful PS ODP engagements. This manager will source and direct active ODP engagements, designing and executing strategies to meet customer needs and helping to achieve the financial objectives of the ODP program. The manager will also be responsible for the ongoing development of the PS ODP processes and ongoing identification and enablement of Engagement subcontractors. The Director/Senior Director will work with the PS research team and sales management to sell, source and deliver the OPD engagements of the professional services organization. Key processes managed by the Director/Senior Director will include: ? Program/Project management of ongoing PS ODP engagements ? Ongoing optimization and codification of PS ODP Engagement processes to improve scalability and customer experience ? Ongoing refinement of the PS criteria set used to during PS ODP audits ? Identification and management of Engagement partners (subcontractors) ? Presales activity related to proposing new PS ODP engagements ? Estimation of resource availability and project costs ? Sourcing of Engagement staff for won engagements ? Accurate expense and margin tracking for PS ODP engagements This position will report directly to the SVP & GM of TSIA?s Organizational Development Services with a dotted line into the VP of TSIA Research for the Professional Services discipline. Key success metrics: The Director/Senior Director will be evaluated on the ability of the PS ODP program to meet revenue and contribution targets and the performance of individual PS ODP engagements. Additionally, the Director/Senior Director will be evaluated on the following metrics: Ability to meet sourcing requirements within agreed upon time frames. ? Project completion ratios ? Project costs and overruns ? Actual project margins ? Project customer satisfaction NOTES: Telecommuting is allowed Qualifications: The successful candidate will have: ? Proven track record of program and project management plus leadership skills required to drive profitable professional service (PS) engagements to technology organizations within the TSIA PS Service discipline membership ? Prior experience managing service projects with values ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 ? Willingness to travel 50% Experience: ? Required: Minimum 7 years of senior program/project management experience ? Required: Minimum 10 years professional experience ? knowledge about the business of providing services for enterprise technology products is preferable and in particular professional services that are contracted in conjunction with or after the sale of enterprise hardware and/or software products ? Functional experience in Technology Professional Services required. Minimum 5 years management experience in PS. Previous experience managing solution rollouts and PS delivery engagements is desired. ? Functional experience with roles in Program and Project Management required. Minimum 7 years of program and project management experience. ? Preferred: Previous experience managing virtual teams. International experience is a plus.
